What a Coffee Truck Needs From Your Venue — BRO COFFEE

Venue coordinators ask us for a vendor requirements sheet and are usually surprised by how short it is. Here is the whole thing.

A place to park

That is the main one. We need a spot roughly the footprint of a large van, plus clearance on the serving side to fold out the awning and give guests room to stand. A driveway, a lot corner, a service road, a strip of grass that is not soaked — all of these work.

Reasonably level ground

The truck needs to sit flat enough to work in. A normal slope on a lot or a driveway is fine. A steep hill or deep soft mud is not, and it is better to find that out on a site plan than at seven in the morning.

A route in

Height and width clearance matters more than distance. Low parking decks, tight service gates and narrow gravel lanes are the usual problems. If your venue has a delivery route that box trucks use, that route works for us.

What we do not need

No power. No water hookup. No kitchen, no prep space, no access to your catering area. The truck is self-contained, which is the entire reason it can work at a lot with nothing around it, a field, or an office park at six in the morning. It also means we do not pass through security or badge access with equipment in hand.

Weather is not a cancellation

The truck is the shelter. Rain slows a line down but it does not stop us, and a window under an awning beats a folding table under a tent every time. Cold is fine — cold is good for us.

Send the site plan

If your coordinator has a vendor map, attach the details to the booking form and we will tell you exactly which spot works before anybody commits. You can see the truck set up in a few different venues in the gallery.
