The first two Saturdays of December are usually gone before Halloween. If you are looking at holiday party coffee catering in Atlanta, the date is the scarce part — the menu, the headcount and which pricing model you use can all be settled later.
How the December calendar actually fills
Friday and Saturday evenings go first, starting with the first weekend of December and the Saturday before Christmas. Those are usually committed by the middle of October, which is earlier than most people expect when they start calling vendors after Thanksgiving.
What stays open much longer is weeknights and daytime, sometimes into the same week. We will tell you straight that a date is taken rather than leave you building a run of show around a truck that is not coming.
A weeknight office party is the easiest date to get
Company parties on a Tuesday or Wednesday are the dates we almost always still have, along with morning and lunch windows. If your team has any flexibility on the day, moving off the weekend buys you weeks of lead time and changes nothing about the service itself.
It is an easier booking at the venue end too, since office lots empty out after five in December and parking stops being a negotiation. A weeknight company holiday party runs on the same order pattern as a regular office coffee morning, with more lattes and a later start.
The menu shifts hard toward hot drinks
In July the serving window is mostly cold drinks. In December it flips: lattes, cappuccinos and chai tea lattes carry a holiday party, and americanos go to the people who want something to hold on the walk back to the car.
We still load frappes, shakes and coolers, because indoor parties get warm and teenagers order them in any weather. Snowballs we leave off a December list unless you ask — shaved ice in a dark parking lot does not move, and we would rather say so now than watch the flavors sit untouched. The hot side of the board is laid out on our coffee menu.
Indoor venues turn winter into a parking question
Nearly every December booking is an indoor party with the truck outside, so the distance between our serving window and your door decides how the night goes. Guests who will happily cross a courtyard in June will not cross it in the dark in near-freezing weather.
Ask your venue for the outdoor spot closest to a door guests already use, and ask whether that spot is lit at seven in the evening. Service drives and loading areas are often the best December position for exactly that reason. We need a legal place to park and room to fold out the awning. Our baristas work inside the truck, so nothing is carried through your building and we never touch your kitchen.
When we say no to a December date
The truck can only be in one place at a time, so a December Saturday is genuinely first come. An afternoon party in Marietta and an evening one in Decatur fit in the same day; two evening parties on opposite sides of the metro do not, and we will not pretend otherwise to keep both.
If you are deciding between two possible dates, send both. We can tell you which one is open in one reply instead of three.
What to send us to lock a date
The date, the window you want open, the venue address and a rough headcount range. That is enough for us to hold the slot and get a quote back to you quickly. Per Guest, Per Cup or Post-Pay is a conversation for after the date is yours.
Add one line about parking — inside a gate, a private lot, or a public street — because that is the detail that otherwise becomes a phone call in week two. There is more about how we work these nights on our holiday party page, and the booking form is the fastest way to find out whether your date is still there.
