Every couple asks the same thing eventually: when do we actually have you? There are three good answers and one bad one.
Cocktail hour
Guests are between things, photos are happening somewhere else, and the truck gives everyone a place to stand and something to hold. This is the slot with the best photos of your guests, because the serving window turns into a backdrop whether we plan it or not. Order mix here skews to lattes, cappuccinos and cold drinks in summer.
After dinner, before the dancing
Our busiest window at a wedding. People have eaten, the room is warm, and half of them are thinking about how long the drive home is. Espresso moves fast in this slot. If you can only book one window, this is usually the one.
The send-off
Short, dramatic, and worth it if your reception runs late. Guests get a cup on the way out instead of stopping somewhere on the drive. It works best as an add-on to one of the two windows above rather than on its own.
The one that does not work
During the ceremony. It sounds obvious written down, but we get asked, usually because a timeline got compressed. Nobody orders a drink while you are saying vows, and the noise of an espresso machine is not what you want behind them.
Splitting the day
The truck stays parked between windows, so cocktail hour plus after dinner is one booking, not two. Tell your planner that — most assume a vendor leaving and returning means paying twice.
Where it sits at the venue
Best case is somewhere guests already walk past: the courtyard, the edge of the lawn, the drive outside the reception doors. Tucked behind the building is technically fine and practically a waste, because half your guests never learn the coffee is there. Ask your coordinator for the spot with foot traffic, not the spot furthest from the party.
What it costs you in floor plan
Nothing inside. We do not take a table, a corner of the room or an outlet, and we do not touch your caterer’s space, because everything happens inside the truck. For venues with strict vendor rules that usually turns out to be the easiest conversation of the planning process.
What we bring for a wedding crowd
Espresso drinks with four milk options, plus smoothies, shakes and snowballs for kids and anyone who does not drink coffee. More on the wedding page, or send your run of the day through the booking form and we will suggest the windows ourselves.
